Woodley Airfield Church is open
We are currently not meeting together face-to-face but we do still worship using a variety of resources. Our online worship services use Zoom and we
also have resources which can be downloaded or requested in printed form. Please visit our Online Worship
page for more
information or to access the materials which have been prepared for us to use, or our Contacts
page to request a copy.
We also pray together, so if you would like prayer or you have any other enquiry please get in touch via the Contacts

Welcome to our website.
Ours is an ecumenical church - which means that we embrace, and are part of, several different Christan denominations - in particular Methodist,
United Reformed and Church of England. A brief outline of our history
explains how this came to be: in practice it means that we celebrate the traditions of
all three of our parent denominations but do not conform entirely to the customs of any one of them. We like to
try new forms of worship and try to avoid doing things simply because they have been done that way before.
Where we meet
We don't have the burden of supporting our own church building, so we meet each Sunday for worship at 10.30am at:
Woodley C of E primary school, Hurricane Way, Woodley, (RG5 4UX)
For those who use WhatThreeWords: ///coach.energetic.dragon
(please note that the postcode gets you close but not quite to the right place).
The school is located at the junction of Hurricane Way and Comet Way - look out for the red and white sign and
the big banner on the school fence.
Week-night meetings take place mostly in the homes of members of the church.
Come and join us
The Airfield Church is a welcoming place with an informal style of worship and an emphasis on the whole family. Everyone is welcome - from mature Christians
to those who are wondering what Christianity is all about and would like to find out a little more in a friendly and pressure free environment.
No-one is excluded from the love of Jesus Christ and our aim is that everyone should feel welcome in our church - please come and join us and find out what God
and the church have to offer you.
